Prayer

Thank you Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for my existence. My experience of it in this world is a mixture of pain, pleasure, anxiety, hope as the corrupted exists side by side with the holy. I pray that my children, and their children and their children's children would have the knowledge of the wisdom that comes from you. Discerning right from wrong, holy from desecrated and posses a faith rooted and strong in You, your Word and the Good News of the Gospel, until you return to take your children home.

Until that great day I pray for strength, for those who love you (all my relatives), to persevere in the face of opposition to your name. May they be a light in a darkening world, that is never extinguished.

Kids, this past week has been extremely difficult for me. My work has felt like it has collapsed and my business, not as useful to clients as I thought. When life is hard and you want to quit, persevere. Yes, I know what it feels like to want to flee or fight but God has called us to be light and salt not just in good times but when everything goes wrong, yes even when you are the one to blame. Don't think you are the only one with troubles you perceive are insurmountable obstacles. Just because you are the creator of the troubles (and shoot why would God save you if you deserve the consequences) doesn't mean that God will let you wallow in them. That is not the message behind His love. When we were yet sinners, the Bible says, Christ died for us. So exchange wallowing for worshiping Jesus.
