Quote of the day“A vote is like a rifle: its usefulness depends upon the character of the user.” ― Theodore Roosevelt Memory Verse'I hate divorce,' says the Lord God of Israel, 'and I hate a man's covering himself with violence as well as his garment,' says the Lord Almighty. Malachi 2:16
A DreamI had a dream once:
I found myself standing in a field of knee high golden wheat on a beautiful day. The sky was blue without one cloud and the temperature was comfortable, so much so that one doesn't even recognize it. As I tried to orient myself, I scanned the horizon looking to find something that I recognized. I noticed there were no trees to be seen anywhere all the way to the horizon, only the wheat waving in the breeze and then I noticed, in the distance, two homes built next to each other. I had no other place to go so I started walking towards the homes. After 50 feet or so I felt something drop off my back. It was so palpable that I turned around to see what I had lost but nothing was on the ground. As I turned back to continue my walk toward the houses, I noticed I felt lighter and stronger, so I picked up the pace. After about another 100 feet something else fell off my back. It was unmistakeable this time so I turned around to see what I had lost and again I could find nothing on the ground. I was a bit confused but I turned again to continue my walk and noticed this time I felt considerably lighter and stronger to the point there I started to run. I ran without tiring and was able to take great strides. Enjoying my new condition I stopped to consider how I felt and thought, I think this is how heaven will feel. I cast my gaze to the houses now which were close enough to identify 2 people on the front porch of one of the homes. I knew both of them, one was my mom who had passed away in 1986 and the other my Aunt who had passed away in 1988. As soon as I realized where I was, I woke up.
