The Bible doesn't necessarily mention that our Earth is the only planet in our Universe that supports complex life, but if there were other planets similar to ours it would be hard to reconcile Jesus' acts of coming down from Heaven and redeeming mankind. How would the Good News reach other planets? It would be hard to reconcile. The Bible does mention that the Gospel will go out to all the Earth, so I personally don't believe there are other galaxies out there with complex life.

Mexico Missions Trip

MC and Molli are on the trip in Mexico, 2013. Dear Praying Family and Friends, We are so thankful for your covering of prayer yesterday. The team is in complete agreement that this was a very special day for each of us. The squatter river community, Rio3, is comprised of approximately 100 homes constructed out of items recycled from the garbage dump surrounding them. Amidst the extreme poverty we saw today, we fellowshipped with the joyful hearts of mothers and their children at the Rio3 church/community center. We were able serve a meal in the church to about 100 people and then an additional 50 meals directly to people standing in doorways of shanties. The men in our group removed a tin roof so that next week's group can begin building a second story on the church which will eventually be classroom space. Crafting, singing, sorting donated clothes and holding babies filled the day. Although the air was heavy with animal waste, the heat was oppressive, and little green was to be seen among the concrete block construction- our study earlier that morning prepared us to view the members of this poor community as Jesus Christ's creations, and therefore their community as his Holy Ground. Three years ago this squatter's village was destroyed by Hurricane Alex and hundreds of residents lived at the church, which of course is located on Higher Ground God used this catastrophe to soften the hearts of men. Prior to the hurricane the church workers were heckled, but now they are welcomed. Please pray that God would raise up male leaders in the Rio3 community. Today we are scheduled to go to a children's home within walking distance of B2B campus. We are very aware of the prayer support from our family and friends and we thank you for it.
